Eve is a lifelong artist accomplished in a wide variety of media including graphite, charcoal, pen-and-ink, oil paint, watercolor, photography, digital design, lithography, textile arts, clay and welded metal sculpture. She combines multiple media in her unique work. From Bainbridge Island/Seattle, Eve studied art at the UW and RISD, where she received her B.F.A. (Fine Arts Photography, 1991) and discovered welding. In 2005, she and her family spent two years in Tokyo, Japan, where she studied Japanese. Eve is a Master Gardener, completed the UW Natural Science Illustration Certificate Course in 2012 and the four-year Aristides Oil Painting Atelier in 2017 (Gage Academy of Art in Seattle). She loves learning languages, is a Francophile, has lived in France and speaks French. Eve is also a nature and animal enthusiast, and a lifelong learner. When Eve is not making art, she feels as though she can’t breathe.
